LechedeVirgen Trimegisto es artista de performance. Se concibe como una entidad híbrida y prodigiosa, una conjunción de pezuñas, garras, antenas y aletas que desborda los límites del género y de lo humano para habitar lo no binario como un posicionamiento político radical y multiespecie; su identidad, forjada entre saberes feministas, perspectivas decoloniales y el arte como territorio de autoconstrucción, se consolidó tras un trasplante renal en 2017 —cuando el riñón donado por su madre se volvió símbolo tangible de su cuerpo expandido y de un segundo nacimiento—, marcando un parteaguas que le llevó de la autonegación y las ideas suicidas a una plenitud combativa donde “florecer es radical”; desde ahí, reivindica artes críticas y beligerantes, exige que nada se decida sin las voces implicadas y apuesta, incluso entre ruinas, por imaginar futuros donde las alianzas entre especies y las disidencias no sólo sobrevivan, sino que transformen el mundo.
LechedeVirgen Trimegisto, performance artist, thinks of herself a prodigious hybrid entity—a convergence of hooves, claws, antennae, and fins that overflows the limits of gender and even the human—inhabiting the nonbinary as a radical, multispecies political stance. Their identity, shaped through feminist thought, decolonial perspectives, and art as a territory of self-construction, crystallized after a kidney transplant in 2017—when the organ donated by her mother became a tangible symbol of her expanded body and a second birth—marking a turning point that led her from self-rejection and suicidal ideation to a combative fullness where “to bloom is radical.” From that place, they champion art that is neither merely beautiful nor apolitical, but critical and insurgent, insists that nothing be decided about communities without their direct participation, and continues to imagine—amid the ruins—futures in which multispecies alliances and dissident identities do not merely survive, but transform the world.
