The Villas

The Villas is an audiovisual artist duo formed by filmmaker and video artist Cecilia Villaverde and multidisciplinary artist Jorge Villarreal. Working across expanded documentary, experimental cinema, photography, and immersive installation, their collaborative practice explores memory, displacement, identity, and the emotional architecture of contemporary life.

Rooted in a shared interest in liminal spaces between reality and fiction, The Villas constructs poetic visual environments that merge intimate observation with fragmented narratives and abstract montage.
